airpods
Bought the new AirPods Pro 3 recently.
The ANC actually shocked me. It’s a lot better than the Pro 2. Not a small step. I didn’t expect that.
Audio quality? Less of a jump. Maybe a bit more bass, and it feels slightly cleaner. Nothing wild. If you already liked the Pro 2 sound, you’ll feel at home.
The new ear tips threw me off at first. Foam plus silicone now, so they push back more when you put them in. Kind of uncomfortable for a day or two. Then they settle and it’s fine.
I like the new shape a lot. Battery on the buds is great. Like, genuinely great. About two extra hours versus the old ones helps more than it sounds.
The case is the downgrade. I charge it every day now. Before it was every other day. They went from around 30 hours total down to 24. At least it’s thinner.
I’ve been throwing everything at them. Rock, metal, pop, rap, sad rap, classical, jazz. All of it sounds solid. Might do a post later about the playlists I keep on rotation.
One sour note: these are stupid expensive in Brazil. R$2700 for a pair of AirPods is rough.
