Why a blog and not Twitter.
First: I hate Twitter. Everything I see about it, everything that happens there, feels bad. The whole reputation of “where all the awful stuff shows up.” Confusion. Fights. People being horrible to each other. Vibe I can’t stand.
This blog is the opposite. Quiet place to dump thoughts. Don’t care if anyone reads them. Just getting them out of my head. That’s helped a lot, honestly.
Also it’s my code. I built it how I wanted. Same vibe as Bear, because I love that minimal look.
“Why not just use Bear then?”
I want something I host myself. Something I can change whenever I feel like it. If something bugs me, I fix it. If a feature’s missing, I add it. That freedom matters to me.
“But more people would see your posts on Twitter.”
Said it in hello already. Views don’t matter. This is my spot on the internet. I post what I want.
