weather
Already talked about when I work best. Night. Weather matters too though.
My favorite is cold and rainy. Cold plus rain is just perfect. Nothing else hits like that. Rain on the roof especially. That sound. The comfort is ridiculous.
In anc I said I keep ANC on almost everywhere, even at home. Still true. Other exception: rain. ANC off so I can hear it.
Cold and cloudy also. That fog darkness. Looks so good. Same kind of comfort. Hard to beat.
Doesn’t matter what I’m doing. Code, a show, whatever. Better with rain. Leaving the house for work in the pouring rain sucks, sure. But once you’re already working and you can hear it? That feeling is so good.
Cold rainy weather. Best of the lot.
