graduated

Writing this blog is actually fun. I’m into it tonight.

Also: I graduated. Mentioned it in passing in what I code on. Here’s a bit more.

Most of college, the classes didn’t teach me that much. Curiosity did. I’d go dig on my own, and a lot of the time I showed up to class already knowing a good chunk of the subject. Weird flex. Also kind of true.

The best part was the final project. In Brazil we call it TCC. The thing that usually melts people and turns everyone into a nervous wreck.

I thought it would be horrible. It was the most satisfying stretch of the whole degree.

I already had the project. I’d started it a long time before, and I actually liked working on it. So the build part felt good. Writing the document felt good too. Weirdly good.

Then the presentation.

I hate presenting. Usually I’m the one who does the work so I don’t have to stand up there. This time it just flowed. Best presentation I’ve ever given. Genuinely pleasant. Did not see that coming.

Full marks on the final project.

Congrats to me, I guess.
