Remember the airpods post? I said I’d talk about the playlists I keep on rotation. Here we go.

First, apps.

I use Apple Music right now. I also like Tidal a lot. Spotify? No. Don’t like it.

Apple Music has one real problem though. The suggestion algorithm is horrendous. Worst of the lot. Genuinely bad. I mostly listen to my own playlists anyway, so it barely matters.

Three playlists for day to day.

One is rock and metal. One is classical and jazz (that one’s called Chill). And one is a mess on purpose (Scary). Mostly pop and alt-pop, with emo rap and some J-Pop thrown in. Just lol.

Day to day I land on rock and metal the most.

Favorite band is Avenged Sevenfold. Two years straight as my monthly number one. Every month. They’re not going anywhere.

That rock playlist is heavy on metal and nu metal, with a chunk of classic hard rock too. Avenged Sevenfold alone eats a huge slice of it. Then System Of A Down, Metallica, Linkin Park, the usual suspects.

If you want them:

Rock

Chill

Scary

Might rotate artists later. Or not. We’ll see.
